Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Lynn Wohlers
Born in the Midwest and brought up on the East Coast, I now live in the Pacific Northwest, where I am inspired by nature every day. Whether exploring back roads for unexpected sights, shooting an unexpected scene with my smartphone, or focusing in on plants, I am immersed in the rich visual feast that this world offers. It's been said that I have "a gift for seeing an 'ordinary' scene and capturing something extraordinary." I do this intuitively, through a kind of visual meandering that encourages exploration and experimentation. If my work gives you an insight or a moment of pleasure, then I've done my job.
